China Mobile Hohhot Data Center — B02 machine building operations
On 12 October 2026 the Horinger New Area investment promotion services bureau stated that the China Mobile Hohhot Data Center's B02 machine building has been put into operation (B02机楼已投运), its PUE falling from 1.315 to 1.209 with cooling supplied by waste heat from the Jingneng Shengle thermal power plant over a 4.6 km pipeline, and about 560,000 kWh saved so far. The record covers operation of the B02 building as of the publication date only; its original service date, IT capacity and rack count are not stated, the PUE values are the bureau's description (measurement period unknown) and are not recorded as efficiency observations, and the other machine buildings, the liquid-cooled intelligent computing centre and the B25/B27 expansion are not included. evidence

China Mobile Hohhot Data Center — existing intelligent computing centre operations
On 27 August 2026 the Horinger New Area administrative approval bureau reported that guests on the 23 August industry tour visited the China Mobile intelligent computing centre. The bureau describes it as the world's largest single liquid-cooled operator intelligent computing centre, which has deployed about 20,000 AI accelerator cards (over 89% domestic chips) with up to 6.7 EFLOPS of intelligent compute. The New Area's 10 August 2026 item, attached as context, says the China Mobile Hohhot liquid-cooled intelligent computing centre has 6.7 EFLOPS in total. It also says the centre has run a 10,000-card cluster for 22 days of uninterrupted training, with 86% direct green power and a machine-room PUE as low as 1.15. These present-tense government statements support operation of the existing intelligent computing centre as of 27 August 2026. They name no buildings. The B25/B27 expansion, still under construction then and completed on 10 October 2026, is a separate project and is not included. evidence
