Under construction
United Arab Emirates · 1 project · Last reported
Summary
AI-optimised, liquid-cooled data center being built by Khazna Data Centers in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, with 20 data halls of 5 MW each for 100 MW of IT load, the largest facility in Khazna's portfolio. Construction by Laing O'Rourke began in October 2024 with a 15-month target, and power is to come from Etihad Water and Electricity. By April 2025 the steel structure was complete and the first phase was rescheduled to December 2026 from an earlier 3Q 2025 date. In February 2026 the Uptime Institute awarded the design documents Tier III certification.

Power supply
Status rests on Khazna saying in October 2025 that it was developing hyperscale facilities in Ajman and on MEED's April 2025 report of completed steel structures; the February 2026 certification release speaks of performance once the facility is constructed, and no later construction or opening report was found. MEED reported in October 2024 a multibillion-dirham cost with no exact figure, and a project area of 100,000 square metres without saying whether that is floor or land area, so neither is recorded as a metric.

Evidence
Sources are linked, not redistributed; each keeps its own terms. An archived copy is a lookup for the Wayback Machine capture nearest the retrieval date and may be unavailable or differ from what was reviewed. Each hash states what it covers; imported factual records are not publisher-page captures.
