SAS PIPA-DC1 proposes a hyperscale data centre on 5.1 ha of farmland in the ZAC de la Baccolanche of the Parc Industriel de la Plaine de l'Ain at Blyes (Ain), north-east of Lyon: two three-storey buildings (DC1 and DC2) for 130 MW IT, with a 195 MW grid connection, a private 225/63 kV substation and 74 emergency generators, at an estimated EUR 740 million. The regional environmental authority issued its opinion on the impact study on 14 August 2026, during the public consultation (6 July to 6 October 2026) on the ICPE environmental-authorisation application. The August 2026 section lists "Création d'un Data Center à Blyes (01)", a project carried by SAS PIPA-DC1 in Blyes (Ain), with "Avis du 14 août 2026 / 2026-ARA-AP-2098-N022432" (2026APARA103).
