Teraco CT1 Rondebosch — existing data-centre operations

Teraco's Cape Town locations page, in its version modified on 28 September 2026, says Teraco operates vendor-neutral colocation data centres in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and lists Rondebosch CT1 among its Cape Town facilities: Teraco's first vendor-neutral colocation facility, in the commercial heart of Rondebosch at the Great Westerford Building, with an interconnected ecosystem of more than 7,000 cross-connects and 100+ network service providers. This records the existing CT1 facility as operating on 28 September 2026, the modification day of the captured version (bounded by the Internet Archive copy of 14 August 2026, which shows the same CT1 text in the 13 August version, and the live capture of 27 October 2026); it is not an opening date. The page's 2,500 sqm white space and IT load of 5 are facility specifications, not load in service, and the CT1 expansion (under construction, completion targeted for early 2027) is not part of this project. evidence

Precision scope
The point locates the CT1 facility/campus only. It is not specific to the current expansion and is not a centroid, parcel, building outline, construction extent, or boundary.
Horizontal uncertainty
Not reported

The page does not identify datum, reference feature, collection method, or horizontal accuracy; GPS wording supports geographic-point semantics but not survey accuracy.

Geometry evidence

A locator places the site on the map. It is not a building footprint, a construction extent or a surveyed boundary unless the use scope is an official boundary, and even then it is a parcel or permit boundary.
