Summary
Data4's first German campus, on a former military base in the Großauheim district of Hanau, about 30 minutes from central Frankfurt. Data4, owned by Brookfield, plans 180 MW of power capacity for cloud and AI customers and in September 2025 doubled its planned investment from EUR 1 billion to more than EUR 2 billion when it laid the foundations. The plan includes a combined heat and power plant, a substation, decarbonised energy and waste heat for local district heating. Trade press described the campus as under construction in March 2026; no operating date has been published.
