Under construction
Malaysia · 1 project · Last reported
Summary
Vantage Data Centers' second hyperscale campus in Cyberjaya, Selangor, next to its existing KUL1 campus. Announced in May 2023 as a 256 MW IT campus of 10 facilities on nearly 35 acres, with the first facility planned for Q4 2025, it broke ground in August 2024 alongside a supply agreement with Tenaga Nasional Berhad for 500 MVA through a dedicated 275 kV substation. Vantage's campus page, viewed in October 2026, now describes a larger plan of 436 MW of critical IT load in six data centers on 52 acres. No source found confirms whether the first facility has opened.

Vantage's May 2023 release presented an additional US$3 billion for building the campus, but its 2024 release calls the same sum investment into Malaysia, so it is kept out of the metrics as a country-level figure. Vantage signed an agreement with Cyberview Sdn Bhd, Cyberjaya's tech-hub developer, to secure the land; its formal role is not stated. The undated campus page (s3), read on 2026-10-09, gives the 436 MW plan in future tense without saying which buildings are live, so the status rests on the 2024 groundbreaking. KUL1 next door is a separate campus; in 2023 Vantage said both together would deliver 287 MW of IT capacity. Coordinates and district come from Wikipedia (s4).
