NTT DATA Group and its data center arm NTT Global Data Centers announced in April 2026 that they had begun developing Tokyo TKY12, a six-building hyperscale campus in Shiroi City, Chiba Prefecture, in the Inzai-Shiroi data center cluster east of Tokyo. It is planned for about 200 MW of total IT capacity on a flat site about 20 m above sea level, near NTT's 50 MW TKY11 facility, which is due to open in April 2027.
