EdgeConneX's Dublin location page, headed 'DUB01 & DUB02 Dublin Data Centers', in its version modified on 27 August 2026 (bounded by Internet Archive copies of 2 August and 3 September 2026), says EdgeConneX holds a land-banked parcel in Dublin that currently houses two purpose-built data centers, that it is operational and power banked for over 170 MW, and that it supports two existing and up to five new data centers in the Grange Castle Business Park; it lists DUB01 at 18 MW N+1 and DUB02 at 7 MW N+1. This supports current operation of the two existing data centres east of the R120 as of 27 August 2026. The page marks a 7 MW DUB03 as planned, while the EPA's December 2025 report counts DUB03 in the existing campus; DUB03's state is not asserted. The EPA granted Edgeconnex Ireland Limited industrial emissions licence P1204-01 under seal on 3 September 2026 for the operation of an installation at Newcastle Road, Lucan, County Dublin that 'will include' energy centre ESSDUB97 (20 gas engines of 10.3 MWth) and two data centres, EDCDUB04 and EDCDUB05, with 48 back-up generators. This dated government record identifies the project, supporting announced status as of 3 September 2026. The EPA's Technical Committee states that the installation has planning permission from An Coimisiún Pleanála (South Dublin SD19A/0042 / ABP-305948-19 and SD21A/0042, among others), but those grants date from 2020 to 2023 and whether each remains in effect was not established, so permitted status is not asserted. The EPA inspector's report on licence application P1204-01 says that the applicant, Edgeconnex Ireland Limited, also operates three data centres located to the east of the licensed installation, that the R120 divides the lands under the applicant's control with the installation west of the R120 and the existing data centre campus east of it, and (footnote 1) that the existing campus, which includes DUB01, DUB02 and DUB03, holds no IE licence because its total thermal input is below 50 MW while each back-up generator is on the Agency's Medium Combustion Plant register. evidence

The inspector describes a c. 22.1 ha installation site of partly greenfield and brownfield land west of the R120, bounded by the Grand Canal to the north, with the applicant's existing data-centre campus (DUB01, DUB02 and DUB03, not IE-licensed) east of the R120. EDCDUB04 and EDCDUB05 will each have two single-storey data halls and 24 back-up generators of 6.9 MWth; 'When constructed', their generator yards will hold the generators, and 'Upon completion of construction' the installation will operate around the clock.
