Summary

NorthC Schweiz's post of 30 September 2026 lists Geneva (2028) among its Swiss data-centre locations and states that a high-tech data centre will open in Geneva in 2028. NorthC's Geneva page identifies it as a 4.5 MW high-performance data centre being created in The Hive technology park near CERN, at Rte du Nant-d'Avril 152, 1217 Meyrin, available from 2028. The dated statement establishes an announced project only: no building permit, construction start or completion is established, and the 2028 opening is a forecast. evidence

Scope class: official_building_address_point_of_operator_published_project_address

Derivation: direct_geometry
Precision scope: Official federal building-address point (EGAID 102543513, EGID 295522333) of Route du Nant-d'Avril 152, 1217 Meyrin, the address NorthC publishes for its Geneva data centre. It lies inside The Hive's cadastral parcel 11875 (about 35,555 m2; building-right parcel 14785 overlaps it). The register attaches the address to an existing 2022 non-residential building (1,903 m2, 5 storeys); the data centre's own building is not identified by NorthC, so the point locates the project address, not the building.
Horizontal uncertainty: Not reported
The federal address register publishes no positional accuracy, and NorthC does not publish the data-centre building's footprint; the projected data-centre building record on the same parcel lies 77.5 m from the point and the parcel extends up to about 236 m from it, so the data centre may lie up to about 240 m from the point.
Geometry evidence: 149a9019

A locator places the site on the map. It is not a building footprint, a construction extent or a surveyed boundary unless the use scope is an official boundary, and even then it is a parcel or permit boundary.
