Summary

Teraco's Johannesburg locations page, in its version modified on 28 September 2026, says Teraco operates vendor-neutral colocation data centres in Johannesburg and lists Bredell JB2 among its Johannesburg facilities: JB2 at 0A, 1st Road, Glen Marais, Kempton Park, completed in November 2017 with over 6,000 m2 of technical deployment space and a 24 MVA supply, positioned to serve the local and African market, with an interconnected ecosystem of 10+ network service providers. This records JB2 as operating on 28 September 2026, the modification day of the captured version (bounded by the Internet Archive copy of 6 September 2026, which shows the same JB2 text in the 13 August version, and the live capture of 27 October 2026); it is not an opening date, and November 2017 is the operator-stated completion month. The 5,400 sqm white space and IT load of 14 (MW, consistent with the 64 MW JB2/JB4 Bredell total in Teraco's 12 August 2025 release) are facility specifications, not load in service. evidence

Teraco's release of 12 August 2025 announces completion of a 30 MW, six-data-hall expansion of its JB4 Bredell Campus data centre in Ekurhuleni, which brings JB4 to 50 MW of critical IT power load, 80,000 m2 of building structure and 80 MW of utility supply, located in the Bredell Campus alongside the R21 business corridor about 20 km from the Isando Campus. It gives Teraco's platform as the Isando Campus (JB1/JB3/JB5: 70 MW), Bredell Campus (JB2/JB4: 64 MW), Cape Town Campus (CT1/CT2: 53 MW) and Durban (DB1: 2 MW). evidence

Location details

Coordinates: -26.07520, 28.27834
Geometry licence: all-rights-reserved
Use scope: Campus locator
Scope class: official_source_reported_facility_reference_point
Authority: Official source
Source entity: Campus
Method: first_party_facility_page_displayed_gps_coordinate_to_point
Derivation: direct_geometry
Precision scope: Teraco's published GPS point for the JB2 data centre at 0A, 1st Road, Glen Marais, Kempton Park (also the page's JB2 map marker). It locates the JB2 facility; it is not a centroid, parcel, building outline or boundary.
Horizontal uncertainty: Not reported
The page does not identify datum, reference feature, collection method or horizontal accuracy; GPS wording supports geographic-point semantics but not survey accuracy, and the independent PeeringDB point is 117 m away.
Geometry evidence: 2619c217

A locator places the site on the map. It is not a building footprint, a construction extent or a surveyed boundary unless the use scope is an official boundary, and even then it is a parcel or permit boundary.
