Summary
On July 24, 2026 NAVER, Brookfield and NVIDIA announced an expansion of Korea's sovereign AI factory infrastructure at NAVER's GAK Sejong hyperscale data center in Sejong. The planned NVIDIA DSX AI factory grows from an initial 55 MW to 200 MW, financed as a USD 10 billion project (Brookfield up to USD 9 billion, NVIDIA USD 1 billion, NAVER the remainder). NAVER targets 55 MW of operations in the first half of 2027 and 200 MW by 2028; these are targets, and no construction start has been reported. evidence

NAVER story dated July 24, 2026: NAVER signed a USD 9 billion preliminary agreement with Brookfield on July 22 and a USD 1 billion strategic investment agreement with NVIDIA on July 24. Centered on GAK Sejong, NAVER plans to begin AI-factory operations at 55 MW in the first half of 2027, expand to 200 MW by 2028 and scale toward gigawatt level over the long term. Brookfield will raise the funding through an SPV once the definitive agreement is signed. evidence

NAVER announced on 8 November 2023 that GAK Sejong, its second self-built data center in Sejong Special Self-Governing City, began full operation with an opening ceremony on 6 November 2023. The campus occupies a 294,000 m2 site, is designed for up to 270 MW of supply and up to 600,000 server units across six phases, and only about one sixth of the full scale was open at launch. evidence

- Precision scope
- Named-feature marker for NAVER's GAK Sejong campus (824 Haengbok-daero, Sejong), used to locate the campus that will host the AI factory. It is not a building footprint, AI-factory hall, parcel boundary or entrance; the feature is categorised as a corporate office and may sit on an administration building within the roughly 294,000 m2 site.
- Horizontal uncertainty
Not reported
The map feature does not publish surveyed horizontal accuracy, and the AI-factory buildings' positions within the campus are not published. The point rounds the named feature tuple (36.5078177, 127.3407162) to five decimal places, a change of under one metre.

A locator places the site on the map. It is not a building footprint, a construction extent or a surveyed boundary unless the use scope is an official boundary, and even then it is a parcel or permit boundary.
