Partially operational
Germany · 1 project · Last reported
Summary
Deutsche Telekom and NVIDIA converted an existing underground data center in Munich's Tucherpark into an AI factory branded the Industrial AI Cloud, at a reported cost of about EUR 1 billion from Telekom and its partners. It is designed for about 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs (around 0.5 exaflops) and uses water from the Eisbach stream for cooling. The site officially opened on 2026-02-04 with first customers live, though trade press reported the four GPU halls were still far from complete.

Qualifies on investment (about EUR 1 billion); reported power is far below 100 MW. Status is partially operational because the opening press reported the halls far from fully fitted out, while Telekom described the site as officially in operation. Germany Trade & Invest reports Telekom plans to double to 20,000 GPUs without naming a site.
