Bridge Data Centres MY07, Ulu Tiram

Partially operational

Malaysia · 1 project · Last reported

Summary

Bridge Data Centres' MY07 is a 65-acre hyperscale campus in Ulu Tiram, Johor Bahru District. In January 2025, while it was under construction, Bridge signed an electricity supply agreement with Tenaga Nasional for the site, reported at 400 MW, and became the first partner in TNB's corporate renewable energy supply scheme. Bridge lists MY07 at 374 MW of IT capacity across eight buildings. A September 2026 Bridge article describes a campus operations team of more than 120 keeping customer-facing services running, with cooling water recycled from treated effluent rather than drawn from potable supply.

Status is partially_operational because Bridge's September 2026 staff profile describes MY07 running mission-critical operations that customers depend on, with a 120-plus operations team and around-the-clock cooling water supply, but gives no go-live date or share of the listed 374 MW and eight buildings in service; the undated Baxtel directory listing still shows the site as under construction with 2027 as its planned year. Cooling water comes from a campus treatment plant that recycles treated effluent from Indah Water Konsortium, per Bridge. Bridge's separate Plentong land purchase and the Southville City plan are different projects. Wikipedia is cited only for the town coordinate.
