Summary
Telehouse Docklands Existing Operations (North, North Two, East, West and South)
Telehouse's 28 July 2026 permit-variation statement describes its Docklands campus in the present tense. Telehouse North (existing East, West, North and North2 data-centre units, 27 standby generators) and Telehouse South (4 generators) currently make up the campus, mains electricity supplies its operation, and the existing generators have been trialling HVO fuel. This confirms current operation of the existing campus as of the statement date. It is not an opening date for any building. The proposed Telehouse West 2 extension is not covered by this status. evidence

Telehouse West 2 (TW2) Data Centre
On 30 September 2026 the London Borough of Tower Hamlets approved details of Condition 12 (Construction Methodology) (PA/26/00730/S) of planning permission PA/22/01140, the outline permission of 1 December 2022 for the demolition of the London Docklands Travelodge Hotel on Coriander Avenue and the erection of a data centre (Class B8) of up to 33,870 sq m GIA, whose reserved matters (PA/22/02552, 24 April 2024) Telehouse obtained for its TW2 data centre. The council's dated approval, the latest of ten condition approvals on PA/22/01140 since December 2025, shows the TW2 data-centre permission is an issued, live consent, so permitted status is supported as of 30 September 2026. This refreshes the record's 22 September 2026 announced observation; it does not date demolition, construction or any other physical stage. evidence

Operator's noise impact assessment for the TW2 permit variation. It says the Telehouse North site on Coriander Avenue comprises four existing data-centre buildings and will be expanded to include the new TW2 data centre. Section 5.1 states that TW2's development was granted outline planning permission in December 2019 for demolition of the Travelodge hotel and erection of a data centre (Tower Hamlets PA/18/03088), amended in 2022 (PA/22/01140, maximum floorspace), with reserved matters approved in April 2024 (PA/22/02552). It describes a ten-storey data-centre building with transformers and generators on the ground floor and a 2023 baseline noise survey taken on the roof of the former Travelodge building before its demolition. evidence

- Precision scope
- Centre of the permitted Docklands Technical Centres site as the operator declares it on the regulator's form (TQ 38770 81090 = E 538770, N 181090), converted to WGS84 with pyproj 3.7.1 (EPSG:27700 to EPSG:4326). It is a campus point for the combined North and South installation; it does not locate an individual building, West 2, a footprint or a legal boundary.
- Horizontal uncertainty
Not reported
The operator gives a 1 m grid reference for the site centre without positional accuracy; individual buildings lie at unknown offsets from it.

A locator places the site on the map. It is not a building footprint, a construction extent or a surveyed boundary unless the use scope is an official boundary, and even then it is a parcel or permit boundary.
