Microsoft Petit-Landau / Hombourg Datacenter Campus (lieu-dit Alte Stocketen, Haut-Rhin)
Announced
France · 1 project · Last reported
Summary
Microsoft 1985 France plans a data centre of three units, each with an administrative building and a two-level server-hall building, on just under 36 ha at the lieu-dit Alte Stocketen in Petit-Landau and marginally Hombourg (Haut-Rhin), beside the Grand Canal d'Alsace. On 12 October 2026 the Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération council declared the project of general interest and approved the PLU change that zones the site for economic use (published 16 October 2026). The environmental authorisation and the building permits filed on 30 October 2025 were still to be decided; no development consent or physical work is established. evidence

IGN API Carto; Géoportail de l'urbanisme (GPU) · publication date not stated
The regulation of the PLU version produced by the project declaration (header "PLU DPmec", 2026) defines zone UE as an urbanised zone for economic activities that admits industrial, office and warehouse buildings and installations classified for environmental protection (ICPE). evidence

- Precision scope
- Centroid of the 38.3 ha UE zone (about 1.0 by 1.1 km) that the 12 October 2026 project declaration added to the Petit-Landau PLU for the data centre. It represents the zoned campus land, not individual buildings, the marginal Hombourg part or a surveyed project boundary.
- Horizontal uncertainty
Not reported
The portal publishes no positional accuracy for the zoning polygon, and the point is the centroid of a 38 ha zone, not a building position.

A locator places the site on the map. It is not a building footprint, a construction extent or a surveyed boundary unless the use scope is an official boundary, and even then it is a parcel or permit boundary.
