Summary

DayOne Data Centers, a Singapore-based operator, is building the Chonburi Tech Park hyperscale campus in the AMATA City area of Chonburi province, southeast of Bangkok. Groundbreaking was reported in March 2025 for a design of 180 MW of grid capacity in two phases, which trade press tied to a US$1 billion multi-year investment. In November 2025 DayOne added adjacent land that lifts the first site (CTP1) to 300 MW and signed an MoU with Amata for a second plot (CTP2) aimed at a 1 GW platform, plus a floating-solar supply deal. In April 2026 DayOne said more than 100 MW of IT capacity was expected to go live during 2026.

Source record as of 2026-04-26 · Details and sources

DayOne's F-1, filed October 5, 2026, reports its Thailand campuses at Chonburi Tech Park as of September 20, 2026. They had 120 MW of bookings: 73 MW of Capacity In Service (ready for service and fully fitted out) and 47 MW under construction. The campus is therefore partly in service; this does not establish completion of every phase or site. evidence

Amata Corporation signed the November 2025 MoU covering CTP2 and the land added to CTP1 and is called a strategic partner, but no formal ownership or development role is stated, so it is not listed as a party. The US$1 billion rests on one trade-press report (s1); DayOne's April 2026 release frames it as a Thailand-entry commitment. That release describes the campus as under development with capacity due in 2026; no source confirms capacity was live by October 2026. Only Intelligent CIO places the campus in AMATA City; DayOne's pages name Chonburi province. Province coordinates come from Wikipedia (s5), used only for the map point.
