NUIST Changwang Building Data Centre
Operational
China · 1 project · Last reported
Summary
Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology operates a campus hosting room on the first floor of Changwang Building. On September 18, its information and data-management centre asked university units to review unused, powered-off and overdue hosted equipment to reclaim room space and electrical capacity while allowing approved hosting to continue. The September 24 collection deadline does not establish that this equipment review was completed. evidence

Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology — Changwang Building Data Centre
Operational last observed as of · Authoritative status update
The university network centre limits server-hosting applications to systems providing common services for university units, citing finite room space and electrical capacity. Applications are reviewed before hosting is approved. This is the centre’s undated service policy; it does not quantify the Changwang room’s power capacity or server count. evidence

A university event notice places Changwang Building at NUIST’s Nanjing campus, 219 Ningliu Road. The event’s N102 lecture hall is an address landmark, not the data-centre room. evidence

The university’s service directory identifies Changwang Building in the central campus area, Zhongyuan. Its campus-card office address provides building identity only; the data-centre room is separately identified by the September 18 notice. evidence

- Precision scope
- Representative point inside the community-mapped Changwang Building at NUIST’s Nanjing campus. It identifies the host building, not the first-floor data-centre room footprint, an entrance or a surveyed parcel.
- Horizontal uncertainty
Not reported
Community mapping provides no measured horizontal accuracy or verified first-floor room footprint. Decimal coordinate precision is not survey accuracy.

A locator places the site on the map. It is not a building footprint, a construction extent or a surveyed boundary unless the use scope is an official boundary, and even then it is a parcel or permit boundary.
