On 17 August 2026 the Scottish Government announced that Ministers had recalled for their own decision the planning appeal on a proposed green data centre at Redheughs Avenue, Edinburgh. The appeal is PPA-230-2794, against the City of Edinburgh Council's 9 February 2026 refusal of planning permission in principle 25/04239/PPP.
