Data Center Group announces on 1 October 2026 a new data centre in Hofheim-Marxheim (about 11,000 m2 plot, up to 30 MVA, three phases, operations planned Q1 2028) for an unnamed international operator, with site setup to begin on 5 October. The RP Darmstadt decision of 19 August 2026 permits its 14 emergency generators but records that the data-centre building permit, applied for in September 2025, had not yet been granted.
