Sify Chennai 02 data center campus, Siruseri
Partially operational
India · 1 project · Last reported
Summary
Sify Infinit Spaces' hyperscale and AI-ready campus at Siruseri, Chennai, is planned as three towers over a shared basement, with an on-site subsea cable landing station and a 230 kV GIS substation. Tamil Nadu's chief minister inaugurated the first tower in April 2025, when Sify said the campus would eventually reach 130 MW and that it and its partners planned to invest INR 10,000 crore over five years. Sify's October 2025 prospectus reported 25.92 MW of built IT capacity in Tower B, of which 4.32 MW was installed, planned another 26 MW there by the year to March 2028, and said work on towers A and C had not begun.
Source record as of 2025-10-16 · Details and sources
Sify's Chennai data-centre page, in its version of 29 September 2026, presents Chennai 02 in Siruseri as Sify's hyperscale campus 'with 25.92 MW IT Power' that 'onboards multiple telecom service providers, Internet Exchanges for robust telecom services to customers and enables enterprises to run their critical applications seamlessly'. This is a newer operator observation that the campus is in service. It does not say how much of the planned campus is built or whether further buildings remain to be developed, so the existing partially operational code is kept rather than upgraded to full operation; 25.92 MW is a stated campus figure, not measured load. evidence

Sify's undated website (s1) still describes the Siruseri campus as becoming operational soon, which is older than the prospectus position; the status rests on the October 2025 prospectus, and no 2026 campus-level update was found. The prospectus places Tower B on a 4.90-acre plot in the SIPCOT Industrial Park, Siruseri, leased from SIPCOT. The INR 10,000 crore figure includes partners' spending and is a five-year plan, not Sify's own committed budget. Tamil Nadu's chief minister inaugurated the first tower; the state has no other stated role, so it is not listed as a party. Siruseri coordinates and the district come from Wikipedia (s4), used only for the location.
