Summary

iXAfrica's release of 21 October 2026 reports that Workonline Communications has established a new Point of Presence at iXAfrica's NBOX1 campus on Mombasa Road, Nairobi, giving customers at iXAfrica direct access to Workonline's network (the release says they will be able to take its IP transit services directly from the NBOX1 campus), and quotes iXAfrica's chief executive that NBOX1 was built as a neutral meeting point for networks, cloud platforms, content providers and enterprises and that every network joining NBOX1 adds value 'for everyone already connected here'. This records the NBOX1 campus as operating on 21 October 2026; it is not an opening date. The operator's campus page lists NBOX1.1 (4.5 MW) as live and NBOX1.2 (18 MW) without a stated status, so only the existing operations are asserted: NBOX1.2 completion or operation is not established, and the 22.5 MW full-site figure is not load in service. evidence

A locator places the site on the map. It is not a building footprint, a construction extent or a surveyed boundary unless the use scope is an official boundary, and even then it is a parcel or permit boundary.
