YTL Green Data Center Park, Kulai

Partially operational

Malaysia · 1 project · Last reported

Summary

YTL Power International is developing a large data center park in Kulai, Johor, paired with a solar plant of about 500 MW and backup supply from the national grid. The park was first described as a 500 MW campus; GDS agreed in 2022 to co-develop part of it, and YTL announced an AI infrastructure collaboration with Nvidia in December 2023. YTL said in late 2025 that an Nvidia GB200-based AI data center at the park was operational, with about 300 MW being built and commissioned. In August 2026 it was reported to be bringing capacity online progressively and planning to raise the park's ceiling from 600 MW to 1,000 MW.
