AWS Douglas County data center campuses

This record covers several sites. It is not counted as an additional site or project.

Amazon Web Services plan announced in January 2025 to invest at least $5 billion in data center campuses in Douglas County, west of Atlanta, with more than 250 full-time jobs. The county called it the largest capital investment in its history and approved a 15-year property tax break. It is part of a wider AWS plan of at least $11 billion across Douglas and Butts counties, which Amazon has not split by county. Amazon declined to disclose exact sites, citing security, and said construction would take several years.
