Summary
Riot Platforms campus in Navarro County, Texas, begun in 2022 to expand bitcoin mining; its 400 MW first phase of immersion-cooled mining infrastructure was completed in 2024 and still serves mining. Riot now plans to make the site's expected total of about 1 GW of developed capacity available for high-density compute: in January 2026 it said it would convert available Corsicana power for data center use, its 2025 annual report described a first data center phase at Corsicana, and in August 2026 it disclosed a non-binding letter of intent with a single tenant for the full site. The sources opened report no signed lease.
