Operational
United States · 1 project · Last reported
Summary
The City of New Albany's data-center site, in its version modified on 26 October 2026, says the City 'is working to address noise complaints from neighbors near two active data center sites, one operated by Google and one operated by Meta', and that residents near 'Google's New Albany campus' reported cooling-fan noise, which Google is mitigating through sound monitoring, operational adjustments and sound-dampening materials, with a permanent solution scheduled for December 2026. This government statement, republished in the 26 October version, records Google's New Albany campus as an active, Google-operated data-centre site on 26 October 2026, the modification day of the captured version (bounded below by the Atlas's 23 October capture of the 26 August version and above by the 27 October capture). It is not an opening, inspection or commissioning date; capacity, the number of buildings in service and occupancy are not established. evidence

- Planar centroid (computed in UTM 17N) of the union of Licking County Auditor parcel 094-106896-00.000 (1101 Beech Rd SW, 219.06 geodesic acres) and Franklin County tax parcel 222-004984 (5266 Babbitt Rd, 221.89 geodesic acres), both owned by Montauk Innovations LLC. The two parcels run along the Franklin-Licking county line for about 1,016 m with a 0.69 m gap between the two counties' polygons; their union covers 440.95 geodesic acres, about 1,834 by 1,654 m. The point lies inside the Licking parcel about 27 m from the county line. It locates the two-county campus property, not a building footprint, an entrance or a surveyed boundary.
- Horizontal uncertainty
Not reported
Neither county publishes positional accuracy for its parcel polygons, and the two counties' polygons leave a 0.69 m gap along the shared county line; the centroid represents a 441-acre two-parcel campus about 1,834 by 1,654 m, and the positions of the individual data-centre buildings within it are not published.

A locator places the site on the map. It is not a building footprint, a construction extent or a surveyed boundary unless the use scope is an official boundary, and even then it is a parcel or permit boundary.
