It is a planned single-story AI data-centre building (MFE-A-Kati2 Building 1) of about 471,884 sq ft with about 112 MW critical IT load at 1392 FM 1420, Willacy County, owned by Soluna KK Energy Service Co LLC, with an estimated cost of $471.8 million. Soluna describes Kati 2 as the planned AI and HPC phase of its wind-powered Project Kati campus, developed in a joint venture with Metrobloks. Under an amended co-mining agreement, Bitdeer's subsidiary Dory Creek, LLC will deploy about 7 MW more of its own mining equipment at Kati 1, bringing its deployment to 35 MW in the site's K1BC phase, which is now fully subscribed; Soluna provides the site, power and turnkey operations.
