AirTrunk TOK1 Tokyo East
Partially operational
Japan · 1 project · Last reported
Summary
TOK1 is AirTrunk's flagship hyperscale campus in the Inzai data center hub east of Tokyo, which AirTrunk bills as the biggest hyperscale campus in Japan measured in megawatts. The 13-hectare campus is scalable to more than 300 MW and already has facilities in service. In August 2024 AirTrunk said a 50 MW third phase was on schedule and topping out; it broke ground on a further 40 MW-plus phase in June 2025, and in March 2026 said it had recently begun building over 100 MW of additional IT load. That month it closed a JPY 191.6 billion green loan to refinance existing TOK1 facilities and fund the next phases.
