Summary
Core Scientific campus at 8171 Jim Christal Road in Denton, Texas, with 394 MW of gross utility power capacity from Denton Municipal Electric, being fitted out as high-density colocation for CoreWeave as Core Scientific converts its facilities from digital asset mining to HPC colocation. A February 2025 expansion added 70 MW of contracted power and raised CoreWeave's critical IT load at the site to about 260 MW, adding $1.2 billion of contracted revenue. The campus covers 78 acres, and Core Scientific says it is expected to host one of North America's largest supercomputers.

Status date is the access date of Core Scientific's undated Denton page, which still describes the supercomputer as expected. The sources reviewed do not state how much of the Denton conversion is energized. In March 2026 Core Scientific reported about 350 MW energized across its CoreWeave sites, and its 10-K says a portion of the converted facilities was operating at the end of 2025 without naming them, so the site may already be partly operational.
