Summary

Proposed hyperscale data center campus on roughly 830 acres in rural Sargent, about 7 miles northwest of Newnan in Coweta County, Georgia, near Georgia Power's Plant Yates. Atlas Development originally proposed the project, disclosed in early 2025 as a 13-building plan reported at USD 17 billion; Prologis took over development and cut the plan to nine buildings with about 4.34 million square feet. Trade press estimates the campus could need about 900 MW; Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, an environmental group, puts peak demand at full build-out at 910 MW. Coweta County approved the rezoning 3-2 in April 2026 after a moratorium and sustained local opposition.

Power supply

TypeDescriptionSources
GridGeorgia Power supply; Prologis says the utility has confirmed capacity. The site lies near Georgia Power's Plant Yates, which trade press cites as a factor in choosing the land.Prologis; Telecom Review Americas; Propmodo

No report after the April 2026 rezoning of a closed land purchase or construction start was found. Prologis's project site is undated; it describes closed-loop air cooling without evaporative cooling, up to about 300,000 gallons of water a day at peak, and a tax estimate that assumes full build-out in 10 years. The 910 MW figure is Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's, an environmental group, not Prologis's; the metric uses the trade press estimate of about 900 MW instead.
