Applied Digital's AI data center campus in Ellendale, North Dakota, leased entirely to CoreWeave under roughly 15-year leases covering 400 MW of critical IT load. The first 100 MW building came online in two 50 MW phases in October and November 2025, and the 150 MW second building came online in two 75 MW phases by October 2026, for 250 MW operating. A third 150 MW building (ELN-04) is under construction, financed through a bridge loan later refinanced with senior secured notes in June 2026.

Building 2's second 75 MW phase reached Ready for Service on 1 October, so the record's remaining campus construction is now the third building; the operating first building and the delivered Building 2 phases remain outside this project's scope. The annual report says the company operates hosting sites in Jamestown, North Dakota (a 106 MW facility) and Ellendale, North Dakota (a 180 MW facility) for a single crypto-mining customer, both at full capacity as of 31 May 2026. Its debt notes state that APLD Hosting, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary, is the borrower of the Starion Term Loan secured by its interests in the master hosting and electric services agreements related to the Jamestown hosting facility; that APLD GPU-01, LLC's AI cloud computing services are serviced at the Jamestown hosting facility; and that APLD ELN-01 LLC is the borrower of the Starion Ellendale Loan. It names APLD ELN-02 LLC, APLD ELN-03 LLC and APLD ELN-02 C LLC as the landlords of the Polaris Forge 1 HPC buildings in Ellendale.
